Greetings!
Just a quick communication to wish you all a Happy 2008! Spring will be here before we know it, so it's time to get crackin' on those winter projects! A REALLY GOOD winter project would be to work on those design skills! See our course schedule below and let us know if you have any questions.

One of my winter rituals is to go through piles of paper, magazines and other debris that accumulate on my desk over the course of the landscape season. Sound familiar? Anyway, I can't believe this one didn't get read earlier. The October 2007 issue of Lawn & Landscape features a profile and extended interviewAALD Advisory Board member Scott Jamieson, who was named to L&L's Leadership Honor Roll. Scott is a terrific guy who has a demanding job within a company whose values match his own. Please read the article. When you know your mission, and you have a "style manual," decisions are easier. This goes for business as well as life.

In past issues and in my Blog, I've made a few observations about how we can use Green to our advantage. If you read the article about Scott above, you'll see how his company has embraced it in many ways. You might check out 1bagatatime.com for more ideas.
